About
2D Market Offline Reader is a comic book reader that runs in your browser. No addons, plugins or extensions required.
It can be used as quick way to read through your entire 2D Market library or can be used to read your local files.
Reader options and instructions can be accessed by moving your mouse to the top left corner.
Access your 2D Market library
To access your 2D Market library, simply click the right button at the top of this page or click here. You must be logged in.
Every book in your library will displayed when you hover your mouse near the right side of the reader app surface. On mobile, you can tap near the right edge for the same effect.
Access local files
To start reading your local manga collection, click the left button at the top of this page or go here.
Once opened, the reader doesn't require an active Internet connection (hence the “Offline” moniker). No data is ever uploaded to our servers and all processing is performed locally on your device. This means that you can now read your manga or comic books in any of the supported formats right here in your browser.
To open a file in the reader, click anywhere on its surface to start the "open file" dialog. You can also simply drag and drop files onto the reader surface.
If you try opening multiple archives, only the first one will be opened immediately, while the rest will be accessible if you move your mouse to the right side of the screen. If an opened archive contains archive(s) or PDF(s) itself, they will all be added to the list on the right side of the screen.
Supported archive formats include:
- ZIP
- CBZ
- RAR
- CBR
Additionally, you can directly open image files that aren't archived together and have them displayed as if they were. This turns 2D Market Offline Reader into a basic image browser. You can open multiple files at the same time. Unfortunately, due to the security policies enforced by modern browsers, it's not possible to read folders. You'll have to drag and drop files from folders individually.
Supported image formats include:
- JPG
- PNG
- GIF
- TIFF
- PSD (Photoshop format)
- WebM (no controls, always looping)
- Plain .txt
- TTF and OTF font files
